Watercolor Workshop - Beginner, 4hrs
The Online Intro to Watercolor class is designed to introduce you to watercolor paints & the materials that will make you a successful watercolorist. Learn how to use the paint wet on wet and wet on dry. You will create a color wheel using primary & secondary colors, along with a few brush stroke techniques that will help you begin to develop your own style and get you started in your first watercolor painting!
No experience is needed in drawing or painting. We will start where you are at with no stress. We will work together to establish where to start and what to work on during your first lesson. An extra Half Hour is included in your first lesson Free to allow time for this discussion.
At the end of this lesson, we will discuss the next step for you, and select a Date/Time that works for us both for your next session. Do you want to meet weekly, or monthly, or every other week?
We meet online using Zoom for this class. No account is needed. You'll need your computer set up and working with a webcam prior to our class. Keep in mind I'll need to be able to see your artwork. That could be the continuous view of your painting or you can hold your work in front of the camera as needed. You will receive an email the day before your class that will have a link in it that you will use to log into the class. Once you click on the link you will be taken to a waiting room until the class starts. Please have all your painting supplies and log in using the emailed link 5-15 min before the class. We will begin promptly at the designated start time.
